We visited the pumpkin patch again this year. We weren't sure if it was going to happen as it rained the first Saturday we had originally planned to go. Then it was difficult scheduling some time where Thad and Mason could go at the same time without soccer, church meetings, and work getting in the way. We went this last Saturday and it was beautiful and warm outside. We were running short on time so instead of going to the pumpkin patch we know and love and go to every year we decided to go to one that was closer. What a rip off! We will never go back to that one again. They charge everyone for the hayride even if you don't pick a pumpkin, and the kids have to be able to carry their pumpkins out, which of course means tiny pumpkins for the smaller ones. They didn't have much else there that was fun, like a corn maze or yummy food. It was very disappointing and probably cost us more than if we had just gone to the other patch. Oh well, live and learn I guess!

We went to the same pumpkin patch you went to, and YES it was a ripoff! They didn't charge you for the hayride last year, so when we realized they were going to this year we were ticked off!
Where's the one you usually go to? I think we want to try it out next year!
Leslie, we usually go to Linder Farms in Meridian off Victory and Linder roads. So much better! They have tons of things for the kids, a corn maze, food, and free hayrides to the pumpkin patches! Definitely worth it!
