Mason lost his first teeth...

well he had a little help removing them from his mouth. His permanent teeth were quickly coming up behind his bottom front baby teeth and the baby teeth were a little loose but not moving quickly enough to make room for the bigger permanent teeth. So we paid a visit to his dentist, Dr Toby, who we love, and he helped Mason remove his baby teeth. Mason received a visit from the tooth fairy that night and got $2. Seems like inflation has increased the price on teeth for the tooth fairy!
Makai had his 3rd birthday!!!
He was so excited for his birthday and all the attention it brings!! He asked me to make him a train cake, so I did just that. He picked all the colors and the cargo for the coal car. He was spoiled to say the least and loved all the gifts he received!
Halloween...
Of course Halloween was a first for Maiya this year. We dressed her up prior to the holiday just to see if we had any costumes that fit. We snapped pictures of her in the costumes at that time, but we didn't actually end up dressing her up on Halloween. She just hung out here at home with her daddy and helped pass out candy. The other kids went trick-or-treating with me around the neighborhood. Makai really got into it this year. He would run up to the door, knock or ring the door bell (if he could reach it) then yell "TRICK-OR-TREAT!!! Give me some candy!" He did remember to say "thank you" when he received his treat. Everyone got a good laugh out of it since he was so young. I'm sure it wouldn't be so amusing if it was an older child doing it.
