Easter

Easter last year we spent at Disneyland. This year was a nice quiet time at home. We got the kids up early and they had breakfast and then looked at what the Easter Bunny brought them and had a little Easter Egg hunt in the backyard. We were lucky the weather was nice enough to allow that. In years passed, the Easter Bunny usually hides the eggs inside. It was fun seeing their excitement, but it also gave us the opportunity to teach our children about Easter and why we celebrate it. I hope that in talking to them of Jesus and His last week on this Earth that they learned a little something of what the holiday is really all about.

Malia kept looking away from the camera so I told her she needed to look at me and this is what I got. LOL! Silly girl!

The finished product! They had just as much fun eating them as they did coloring them!

Makai was so excited about his basket this year. It really is fun as a parent to see your children's excitement on holidays!

Makai looking for Easter eggs. We had him start first and then let Malia go a minute later and then Mason last. I think Makai found the least amount of eggs but his had the most candy. Lucky guy!
