Carving Pumpkins!

I don't know about the rest of you, but our kids love this time of year. They love watching the leaves change color and fall off the trees. They love going to the pumpkin patch and picking out their pumpkins. They love picking out their costumes. They especially love dressing up and trick-or-treating on Halloween. Another thing they enjoy is carving pumpkins with their dad! They always look forward to this and after getting their pumpkins from the patch they are always asking when they can carve them. Well, last night was the night we chose to carve their pumpkins. Normally Thad would have a giant pumpkin of his own to carve but since the pumpkin patch cost so much we decided to forgo his pumpkin this year. Sorry Thad! The kids had so much fun, although they weren't too fond of sticking their hands into the pumpkin to clean it out. Mason flat out refused to do it until Thad handed him a spoon. Makai unfortunately wasn't feeling very well (darn shots) and didn't get into it like we hoped he would. He did like the end result though. Here are some pictures of the kids in action...
