Makai had his 18 month check-up yesterday. He did really well but made sure he knew where the Dr and nurse were at all times. If only he knew his mom was a nurse and has done the same things to other kids that have been done to him. Do you think he would love me any less?
So with his check-up he was weighed, measured and poked. His weight was 21 lbs 1 oz so he is now below the 3rd percentile for his weight. Very skinny boy I guess. His height was 31 inches. He is at the 12th percentile. He received 3 shots and did very well getting them. He also enjoyed the sucker at the end...I mean who wouldn't. After getting poked and prodded he definitely deserved a treat. The Dr says he is right on track with his development. So that's our boy, skinny and short and full of life!

Wow--Makai and Whitney are almost the same size! I took her in for her 15 mo. check up yesterday...she was 24 lbs. and 30 in. It's so amazing to watch them grow--especially when each one is so different than the other.
That must be how they're all coming these days! Seriously, all the boys i know born around the same time as ours are around the same weight and height.
Sounds like a successful check up.
