the older everything seems to get. Thad and I have been married for 7 1/2 yrs. To us it seems like a while but then in other ways not so much. Well as time goes on we notice things are wearing out that we have had since we've been married or that we got within the 1st year we were married. When things start to break down we think, "hey it's not that old it shouldn't be having problems." Then we think back to when we actually bought it and realize it really has been a while. Our pocketbook is starting to feel the pinch from having to fix and/or replace things that are wearing out.
One of these many things is our refrigerator. We noticed a little over a week ago that the freezer wasn't really keeping things frozen. We cranked it up all the way and still nothing was fully frozen...thank goodness we didn't have any meat in there! So we finally got the Sears repairman out to look at it today and sure enough the fan went out on it. You could only hope that with a freezer not working they could fix it quickly and easily...nope, no such luck. So after charging us $277.00, he ordered the part that should be here within the next week and will be back out to fix it next Friday...a week and a half away. Good thing food doesn't cost a fortune and money grows on trees in our backyard!
