You know the sugar coated marshmallow creations that used to make an appearance only at Easter. Well, I don't care too much for them but my mom and the kids love them. She brought them some Peeps Ghosts and they just had to have one. Mason and Malia scarfed theirs right down but Makai had a different feeling about them. He would put them in his mouth, get all the sugar off and then spit out the marshmallow. He did this several times until he figured out the marshmallow was yummy too and started to swallow it instead of spitting it out. Here are some pictures of Makai enjoying his first peep. Notice the white marshmallow on his shirt.

I don't like those Peeps things either. My dad (the dentist) says if you buried them they'd be able to dig them up 1000 years from now...LOL!
mmm...i love me some peeps...well, not so much now that i'm all growed up. but i would do the same thing as Makai...sugar is yummy!
