Makai's 12 month check-up

Makai had his 12 month check-up today. He did very well with the whole visit. Our Dr moved to a new office so Makai got to be the first patient in the new office. It's a very cute office, the theme is all about fishing. They have a cute boat and cabin for the kids to play in. Of course with new territory come kinks so we got to help iron those out for them. It was a much shorter wait than usual though so there was a plus! So on to the info you've been waiting for (drum roll please):

Weight: 19.5 lbs (7%)
Length: 29.25 inches (26%)

He actually moved up percentiles in length and of course dropped in weight as most breastfed babies do at this time. The Dr said he looked very healthy and is developing well. Makai got 3 shots (owie!) and we also got another prescription for a steroid cream to treat the eczema he has in his diaper area. So overall a very good visit!
