Dinosaur Museum...

At the beginning of March, we took a quick weekend trip to Utah. We were able to stay with Thad's brother Loel, thanks again Loel! The real motivation behind going was my new Scentsy recruit, but it did give us a reason to get away and visit with Loel. While we were there we visited Thanksgiving Point and the Museum of Ancient Life. They basically start from the creation of the Earth and move up through the trillions of years showing how they think life evolved on earth. They had great displays of dinosaur fossils and a water erosion table and fossil dig for the kids to play with. It was a great way to entertain the kids while it was still too cold to play outside.

Cave people!

Water erosion table...Makai didn't like the wet sand on his hands (thus his tongue stuck out in disgust) but had a blast playing with the table.

Fossil dig...this was Mason's favorite activity. He has been learning about dinosaurs at school and is convinced we have fossils in our backyard he needs to dig up. Luckily we've been able to distract him and this was a fun activity to keep him from digging up my beautiful yard!
