Mason, Malia and Makai are all taking swimming lessons this summer. It took Mason a while to remember what he learned last year but now he is doing well and making waves with his "ice cream scoops" (doggy paddle) swimming strokes. Malia remains scared of the water but is progressing and is able to put her face into the water to blow bubbles. Makai is my little fish/frog. He LOVES the water. We have taught him to jump on cue into the water. He also swims like a frog as he kicks and paddles to reach the pool toys. It's amazing the things baby's learn to do. I hope that starting him early on swimming will keep him from being scared of the water as Mason and Malia have been.
